Description
Professional position responsible for managing the branch office in the absence of the director and for promoting and providing all needed Red Cross services including Health / Safety, Disaster, Transportation, & MISS.
Responsibilities include managing disaster services for branch office by fortifying branch office capabilities to respond effectively to disasters through volunteer recruitment, training, shelter development, and community partnerships. Coordinate transportation services; oversees the daily scheduling of clients and volunteer drivers; recruit/ train new volunteer drivers. Provide appropriate support and involvement in Health/Safety and MISS activities.

Experience
Casework experience in social work. knowledge of Red Cross programs. Instructor status for Red Cross programs as determined necessary. teaching background.
Skills
Excellent organizational skills. Ability to write and produce reports. Supervisory expericence.Good oral and written communication skills. Public/ Community relations background.
